Refund & Returns Policy

Refunds & Returns are only applicable to “Art by Anschen” products purchased directly from the Artist, either via this website:, Instagram, Facebook, Email, WhatsApp or in person. Third party purchase will unfortunately not be considered.


Our refund and returns policy is applicable from 30 days from the purchase date. After 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Vouchers

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are to be considered / granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email notifying you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund request has been approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, check your bank account again.

If the refund has not yet reflected in your account, contact your credit card company or bank as it may take some time before your refund is fully processed and finalised.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or were damaged in transit.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be notified of your return.

In order to return a product, kindly notify us via email stating your intention to return the product to: upon which the mailing address (Cape Town, South Africa) for returning the product will be provided to you.

You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are not refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from the order’s total purchase cost.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

It is advisable that a trackable shipping service is used. We recommend that you chose shipping insurance when you return an item. We can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item and refunds can only be initiated once the defective or damaged item have been received by us.
