“Krismisrose” reminds me of Christmas, festivities and family. In South Africa, hydrangeas are in full bloom in December, hence being called krismisrose (Christmas roses) in layman’s terms. They are available in pink, purple and blue shades while they turn whitish-green at the end of the blooming season. This is such a “happy” and “light” painting and will bring beauty to wherever it is given wall space!
